INSTALLATION MANUAL FOR R7
OILCOM R7 Chips: Installation Guide
This guide covers the installation of new R7 2025 chips (Types: NE-S1, Sjm-S, Sjm-S D) :

and the older R7 2024 chip:

Installation is straightforward and requires no special tools or knowledge.
Important Information
- Full Activation: Our chips reach full efficiency within 7 days of installation. Active driving after installation for at least 2 hours a day has to be done for the activation of the chips. Please be patient.
If you don't see results after 7 days of driving, contact us or your dealer for assistance.
- Safety & Durability:
- Avoid Physical Damage: Do not cut or physically damage the chips.
- Extreme Electromagnetic Radiation: While generally safe where humans are safe, some extreme radiation (e.g., certain airport scanners or specialized laboratories) may affect chip functionality. It's best to carry chips with you personally when traveling.
- Temperature Range: Chips operate effectively from -65°C to +110°C.
- Water Resistance: Chips are waterproof and can be immersed at any depth.
- Chemical Exposure: Avoid prolonged immersion in gasoline or solvents, as this can damage the plastic.
- Maintenance: Chips are maintenance-free and unaffected by ordinary dirt.
- Service Life: Designed to last 10 years or more, potentially indefinitely with proper handling.
- Automatic Operation: Once installed, chips begin working automatically. No additional connection steps are needed.
- Reusability: Chips can be transferred to another vehicle. Handle them carefully during removal to prevent damage.
Chip Installation Instructions
We have several types of chips, each with specific installation locations. Always ensure you are using the correct chip for your engine type (gasoline or diesel).
General Installation Steps for All Chips
- Placement: Place the chip with the letters facing the cable (if installing on a wire) or facing the fuel tank ( if installed on a fuel tank).
- All other orientations are not critical.
- If installed on a wire, the distance from the battery terminal is not critical.
- No Insulation Removal: Do NOT remove the insulation from the vehicle's cables.
- Secure Attachment: Wrap the chip firmly around the chosen cable or attach it to the tank using insulation tape or strong adhesive.
- Protection: You can add additional plastic or metal (excluding aluminum) covering for extra protection from external damage.
- Flexibility: Chips can be bent and placed in any position (vertical, horizontal, etc.).
Installing the Old R7 2024 Chip

- Engine Type: Only for gasoline engines.
- Installation Locations:
- Negative Battery Wire: Attach to the negative wire running from the battery to the car body.

- Fuel Tank (Plastic or Metal): Attach to a plastic or metal fuel tank.
- NOT for Aluminum tanks.

Installing the New 2025 Chips
NE-S1 Chip
- Engine Type: For gasoline and diesel engines.
- Installation on Negative Battery Wire:
- Similar to the R7 2024 chip on the negative wire.
- Attach to the wire coming from the negative terminal of the battery.

- If you have two batteries, attach them to the wire leading to the car, not between the batteries.

- Installation on Fuel Tank (Any Material):
- Can be installed on tanks made of any material.
- Attention: If you have aluminum tanks, install NE-S1 on the battery wire first. Drive 7 days. Watch consumption. Then, you can try it on the aluminum tank and monitor if consumption improves further or drops. If it drops, remove it from the aluminum tank.
- Placement: Attach to the outside of the fuel tank, close to the bottom. This ensures the device can activate fuel even when the tank is nearly empty.
- Trucks: For trucks with tanks larger than 90 cm, use two NE-S1 devices per tank. Place them under the tank's fixing straps for protection, with 1-2 layers of Scotch tape for added security.

- Multiple Tanks: For trucks with multiple tanks, use a separate NE-S1 chip on each tank, ideally closer to the middle. The effective range is approximately 0.5 meters. For very large tanks (where any point is more than 0.5m from the installation), consider using multiple chips.
R7 Sjm-S and Sjm-S D Chips (on Positive Wire)
- Installation: Similar to the negative wire installation, but use the thickest wire coming from the POSITIVE terminal of the battery. If wires are of similar thickness, use any of them.
- Sjm-S: Only for gasoline engines.
- Sjm-S D: Only for diesel engines.
