TESTING ON TRUCKS AND CARS

UPDATE FOR 2025

We developed recently a new set of our chips for diesel engines. They are giving constant results of fuel economy above 20 percent. We will publish the detailed  results soon.

___________________________________

RESULTS OF PREVIOUS YEARS WITH PREVIOUS GENERATION OF OUR CHIPS SEE BELOW.

As we have now much higher fuel economy, these results are only for historical interest.

This list contains only a small part of our previous years results.

For other historical testing results of the engine on a test bed with fuel economy of up to 21 percent, please see  here

GROUP 1 - PRECISE TESTING

The testing in this group was done by road test, at a constant speed of 70 km per hour,  using cruise control to keep the speed constant. The first run was without our catalyst, and the second with our catalyst.  All conditions in both runs were similar - speed, the road, distance, wheel pressure,  and weight of the car.  Outside temperature differed not more than 3 degrees.

Fuel consumption was measured this way - the tank was filled to the very top, so the fuel started to leak out of it. After that, the drive was done. After the drive, the fuel was filled again till the top. The amount of filled fuel was red from the fuel station pump. This amount was considered as consumption.  More details on testing you can find here

GROUP 2 - LONG TERM TESTING

The testing in this group was done by clients, driving under the same conditions to their office and back.  Two weeks without our catalyst, two weeks with our catalyst.

Several cases were done by different methods and are mentioned separately below.

Fuel consumption was measured by recording the total distance and total fuel consumed. The fuel consumption was measured by the fuel station pump meters.

These tests were very close to WLTP test conditions, which are now used in many countries.

DAF truck, Diesel, ( 2011),  type 105/410,  Economy 10 %. Tests during 4 weeks.

Ford Focus ( 2005), gasoline. Tests were made on 40 same cars over two months  and the average economy was 16 %.
