Testing on Gasoline
We tested our R3 catalyst on regular Gasoline 95 fuel, bought at a Shell station in Zurich, Switzerland.
We took one liter of gasoline and divided it into two.
We put both parts in glass jars and hermetically sealed them.
The first jar was delivered to the laboratory immediately and examined for heat value according to ASTM D4809 method.
The second jar was placed near our R3 fuel catalyst for 5 days. After that, the second jar was also delivered to the same laboratory and tested by the same method.
As seen below the gross heat of Combustion grew more than 2 percent.
Usually, it is sufficient 3 hours for the R3 catalyst to charge the fuel. 5 days were used because of holidays.
